I really should be packing...

...but i couldn't be bothered.
Its a bad habit of mine to leave things until the last minute... hehe
So here's the plan: Tomorrow i will be washing and ironing and packing like crazy and probably do a bit of cleaning as well. Then we have to drop Ruthie off at Grandma's house for a sleepover, then do the shopping for the fortnight for the 3 "adults" staying here :-p then probably come home and do a bit more packing. I'm a bit worried as to how i'll go with that seeing as half the stuff already in my suitcase is for Jesse, and i haven't even packed all of the stuff going to him either!!!
What a Spoily Spoil!!!!

Saturday i have to be up early to do a shift at work!!! Yay!!! I really am looking forward to it, but am also a bit worried as last week i got abused by cranky customers who made a mistake with their home loan and tried to blame it on me... Hello!!! i haven't been there for the last 3 months!!! Anyways, i had to put my cranky pants on and they left in a huff :-p
After that i guess i'll pick Ruthie up and put her to bed while i pack the last minute things like toothbrushes, etc.
Then hopefully Gerry will get home around 3pm, have a shower and we can leave canberra by 4pm to be in sydney hopefully by 7.30ish. Our plane leaves at 6.40am on Sunday morning, so i daresay that by the time we get to Townsville Ruthie and i will be walking around like zombies.

Here are a few photos that have been taken since i last blogged... all of Ruthie of course :-p

Ruthie having lunch with Mim and Nat.
They're such clowns :-p

Here is my beautiful girl
just being beautiful :-)

Playing with Alfie

So that's it for now... My next blog should be more interesting seeing as we'll probably be doing more :-p but until then...
Mt Isa... Here we Come!!!!!!!
Peace out!!!

Introducing....

Sorry guys... Its still Blob :-p
So this morning, we get up at 7am... (7AM!!!!!) to get ready for our ultrasound.
Ruthie was grumpy all morning and i had to concentrate on drinking at least 600mLs (a Mt Franklin Water bottle) of water and not peeing!!!
So off we went. Our Technician, Sylvia, went about checking everything for the doctor's report while Gerry sat in the corner trying to keep Ruthie entertained.
Blob was being stubborn so that it took ages to get a picture of an artery coming from its heart and one of its nose and lips. Meanwhile, my bladder was about to explode!!
So, because Blob wouldn't move, she asked me to empty my bladder... aaaahhh...
So anyways, we asked her to tell us the gender and try as she might, Blob would not uncross its legs!!! Stubborn... Definitely my child!
Now, a couple of people have asked me if we knew the gender and we just don't want to tell anyone. I promise u this is not the case...
So anyways, here are the pics... if u look closely, u can see Blob sucking its thumb in the profile pic...

On Friday, Gerry had an RDO, so instead of doing the the stuff we should have done (like clean the house, etc), we went to the lake for a bbq.
Nothing exciting really... It was really just that boredom had hit me and i needed to get out for a bit :-p

And finally, i caught someone else trying to be pretty...

At least i know what i can get them for Xmas or their birthdays... HAHAHA
Anyways, till next time...
Peace Out!!!

Again, not much has been happening lately... Except that this blog is making me take more photos!
I'm getting a bit worried that i'm turning into Carol! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
LOL just kidding!
On Saturday, Axelito came over to hang out for a bit and was arguing with Ruthie over her headband.
I caught him unawares.....

I guess he just wanted to feel pretty for once... hehe

Sunday is usually cleaning day in the Abideen/Ojeda Household.
On Saturday, we had promised Ruthie that on Sunday, we would put her Dora the Explorer canopy thingy up after we cleaned her room.
She got it for her birthday in March, but only went into a bed in August, but then we had the Gonzo's come to stay so we couldn't put it up then etiher.
So after a shuffle around of her toys and vacuuming the room, up it went.
Needless to say she was so happy it was finally up! Now she actually looks forward to going to bed!

This morning i woke up at about 3.45am and i couldn't sleep. I was tossing and turning and all i could think about was............................... Get this............................................................................. COCO POPS!!!!!
I don't know why but i couldn't get it out of my head!!!
So up i get at 4.05am to eat a bowl of coco pops! I had a small Ruthie-sized bowl and i think i should have had a normal sized bowl because it still took me a while to get to sleep.
I emailed Gerry this morning to let him know of my interesting early morning snack and he called me straight away.
He could honestly not believe that i got up to eat a bowl of Coco Pops!
I personally don't see what's so strange about that, being that my night time sleep is the longest time i go without food.
On Sunday at Dad's house, we had barbecue and Axel and Sonia were telling me to stop eating and that i eat too much, but really, would you rather see me eat non-stop, or would you rather see me spew non-stop???
I prefer to eat!

On another note, Gerry mentioned to me that he might like to add a few blog entries every now and then, so don't be surprised if you see some stories about a used car yard!
Till next time..... Peace Out!!!

Pottering Along...

So, not much has happened of late...
Ruthie and i have just been pottering about the house not really doing anything in particular.
It has gotten to the point where i am getting very restless, which probably means i'm getting over my Hyperemesis!!!
I've been into work a couple of times, and would love to go back until we go for our trip to Mt Isa, but alas, who would look after Ruthie and besides, i can't exactly say
"i can come back for a month, but then i need a month off in november"
I am getting worried that soon i will be counting down the days till we go, and October is going sooooo slowly.
This time has reminded me of why i was itching to get back to work after having Ruthie.
All my friends work so there is no one to call up and say "Hey! I'm coming round for lunch!"
Luckily, Thursdays are Jimena's day off so that's where we will be probably every thursday from now on. Some sanity and conversation for me, and some sanity and playtime with other kids for Ruthie. Works all way round!!!
Yesterday, Gerry received a letter from Jesse!!!! As i'm the one that checks the mailbox, i saw it first. Usually, i just rip open Gerry's mail and decide whether its useful or not... (LOL that sounds terrible!) But seeing as it was addressed to Uncle Gerry , i thought i better not as i usually receive packages and stuff and he hardly ever does.
When he got home, I told him a letter came for him and he opened it.
I'm glad i didn't open it as i don't think i would have appreciated it as much as he did, being that it was a collage full of cars and boy things.
He tried to call to say thankyou, but there was no answer at the Gonzalez residence, so he left a message.
The following are some photos i have taken of Ruthie during the week....
Peace Out!!!

Ruthie being a hairdresser to her horse...

Pulling faces.... How attractive!

and wearing daddy's hat then saying "look mummy! Like Alfie!!!"

This Week...

So... nothing much has happened this week.
I had my first ante-natal appointment on Tuesday.
Blob is growing well and has a good strong heart beat.
Upon hearing it Ruthie's mouth dropped open. Later, when she was asked what it sounded like she said "It sounded like an Aeroplane"
They confirmed that i am 17 weeks which is awesome coz it means i'm nearly halfway there!!!
Although, to look at me, u'd probably just tell me that ab crunches work really well for that area LOL

I suppose the only other event this week has been the departure of Tia Sylvia who came to visit from Chile for 6 months.
It sounds like a long time, but it seems like only yesterday that we were at my dad's house waiting for them to arrive from the airport after picking her up.
Dad came over on Thursday night (as Mat and Daniel were going to stay over while they went to drop her off at Sydney Airport) and all was well until it came time to say goodbye.
First was Gerry, that was all ok, emotions were kept under control, thanx were given to Gerry for being so attentive with her and that was it.
Next was Alf... They hugged and then it looked as if Alf went to pull away, but she pulled him right back in, hehe, that's when the tears started. No! Not from Alf! From Tia Sylvia!
At this point, Gerry pointed out that
"No one cries for me! And i was the one who used to pick her up every weekend! No one ever cries for the black man!"
Then, she hesitantly came over to me. Not because she didn't like me, but because i was her favourite LOL Her Pilito!
My dad called out "Somebody better get the box of tissues for these two!"
We hugged and she started crying again, telling me to look after myself and that she'd call as soon as she'd arrived.
I would like to point out that i was not crying, nor did i have tears in my eyes contrary to what everyone expected, which was weird because if u ask anyone who knows me, i cry over everything!!
She gave Ruthie a big hug and kiss goodbye and that was it.

Later that night while lying in bed, Gerry said
"Your dad's house is gonna go back to being boring again... Remember what it was like before your aunty got here? We'd go over and read the newspapers to pass the time, then your dad would go to work and leave us with the kids. Your aunty's not gonna be there anymore."

So that was my week... Sorry my first post was so long, but at least u killed some time.

So, until next time... Peace out!!!!
